1. How do I become a certified StarBand installer?

First, you must be affiliated with a StarBand partner installation company, a StarBand wholesale partner company or a StarBand Direct Dealer.

The StarBand partner installation companies are:

• Installs Inc. (www.installs.com)

The StarBand wholesale partner companies are (authorized to sell and install StarBand):

• National Rural Telecommunications Cooperative (NRTC)
• US Online

Next, you must complete the full StarBand Model 360 Installation Training course and pass the pre-certification test, located in the "Indoor Installation" module of the full version of the Installation Training Course. Passing the 50-question pre-certification test will result in the generation of a pre-approval code, which you must enter into the StarBand Model 360 Certification Test to gain access. Upon passing the 100-question certification test, a StarBand certification number will be automatically generated. The certification number is installer specific and will be captured on all StarBand installations through the auto-commissioning process. Your resulting certification number will identify you as a professional StarBand installer and allow you to commission the StarBand Model 360 system.

If you wish to install products other than the Model 360, you must take and pass the associated Certification Tests specific to those products.
