6. Can I obtain the parameters to configure the Model 360 satellite modem before I arrive at the member's?

Yes…you can obtain the site parameters from CVACS by selecting menu option one (1) Quick Parameters. The Quick Parameters menu option allows you to obtain the six site parameters necessary for the StarBand Model 360 satellite modem and antenna configuration:

Satellite Modem ID - Also known as VSAT ID. Entered into the StarBand Model 360 software configuration.
Cluster - Entered into the StarBand Model 360 software configuration.
Sub-Cluster ID - Entered into the StarBand Model 360 software configuration.
Satellite - Determines which satellite is to be used (either T-7 or GE-4). For antenna alignment.
Transmit Polarity - Required to configure the antenna feed horn assembly for proper transmit polarity (either vertical or horizontal).
Satellite Delay - Only needed if member's zip code is not valid. Entered into the StarBand Model 360 software configuration in place of zip code. Response is in milliseconds.
