7. I'm having difficulty in acquiring the satellite signal and obtaining Rx lock…what can I do?

Per the StarBand Field Services Bulletin (FSB), you will need to add two (2) degrees to the elevation obtained from the Point Satellite Dish tool and or the elevation values obtained in the Antenna Assembly Manual. This is a requirement to compensate for inaccuracies in the .75m antenna manufacturing/assembly.

Also, it is quite possibly not to receive Rx lock if your pole or tri-mast wall/roof mount is slightly out of plumb. An error of +/- three degrees will result in non-reception of the satellite signal.
