Welcome to the StarBand Installation Training Courses.

Please read and familiarize yourself with the Installation Training and Certification Test Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) menu located on the right BEFORE you take the StarBand Model 360 training or certification test.

These FAQs contain valuable information on how to become certified in the StarBand Model 360, viewing the installation training, successfully completing the installation training course, and other pertinent information and time saving tips.

Failure to read all the FAQs may result in an invalid certification number or non-completion of the installation training.

For your convenience and enhanced viewing, you can download any or all of the Model 360 training courses to your personal computer.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: The answers to the questions on the pre-certification(Model 360) and certification tests are located in the INSTALLATION TRAINING and not necessarily in the installation manuals. You will not be able to answer all of the questions if you only read the installation manuals.

The tests are also considered "open book" tests, which means that you can reference any material on this site while you are taking the tests. While you are taking the certification test, you can minimize ( by clicking the "-" located in the very top right of the browser window) the certification test and open the training material in a seperate browser window, or visa-versa. The browser window you have minimized has simply moved to the very bottom of your browser and will look something like the image below.

Simply click one of these "Minimized Window" icons located in the bottom of your browser window to re-open that particular window.

NOTE: The "Active Window" shown in the figure above is the browser window that is currently open on your computer. You will click any of the "Minimized Windows" icons shown in the figure above to open that particular browser window.

Instructions for downloading and extracting ZIP files.

By clicking on any of the links to the left for the downloadable versions of StarBand training, you will be downloading .zip files. Once the files have been downloaded to your computer click on the zipped files icon you have just downloaded. The zip utility on your computer will come up listing all of the files you have just downloaded. Find the "Extract" button on your zip utility and click it. It will ask you where you want to unzip the files. Choose a location and click "Extract". When the zip utility is finished unzipping the files to your folder, open the folder and click on the icon that says "Shortcut to Start", or "Shortcut to MAIN". For the CVACS Simulator click on the icon that says "vacstool".
